Kraft Macaroni Dinner, Not Art for iPad – We Connect iPad up to AppleTV with AirPlay
Remember making those macaroni pictures in school? Mom would take the art and put it up on the fridge. Well, Kraft has brought this idea to the iPad with “Dinner, Not Art” for iPad.
Create a new drawing, using one of a few construction papers you load up. The paint brush can choose many different colors. Macaroni comes in three types from elbow, to straight. Place the macaroni on your paper, resize and turn to make it fit in your art. You can even paint the macaroni.
When done, save your picture for the fridge. You can even submit the picture to Kraft for 10 noodles. Best part, Kraft will donate food to Feeding America® (up to 110,000,000 noodles). You can donate more than ten noodles, with the max of 1,000.
The app is free, and tons of fun to play with. So let us know what you end up building!
I also take a look at the AirPlay feature on Apple TV. Any computer that has iTunes can connect, so you can push video and audio from your iPad, iPhone, or PC to an AppleTV. The setup takes only a few clicks on the Apple TV, and switching the iPad to AirPlay works like this:
Apple TV is $100 and comes with remote.
