Clinometer, Lens Pen Laptop Pro
Today we have a double-dose for you. First, an app that lets you determine slope, called Clinometer. If you set the app on the floor, a bubble level appears to figure how level your surface is. If you set the iPad on the side, it will tell you how much of an angle you are at.
A Clinometer is used in Forestry to figure out the height of a tree. You could also use it in carpentry to make sure something is standing upright, like a beam, or chimney.
The app is free, but there is also a .99¢ version while it’s waiting for it’s universal app status.
Lenspen is a company that makes brushes for camera lenses. They also make special cleaners that take fingerprint smudges off glass. It uses an old wives-tale technique of cleaning with carbon to pick up the oil from the prints.
I use the Laptop-Pro because it’s the best of both worlds. You can clean an iPad screen, and a Notebook with this device. It has a fine brush for monitors, a slightly courser brush for keyboards, and of course the cleaning pad.
Lenspen Laptop Pro costs $24.99
